Rules of the Site. They're fairly simple, easy to follow, and you've probably heard them a million times if you've ever RP-ed even once before in your entire life.
1) No power-playing or god moding.*
2) No Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus.*
3) If you are having any problems with any other member, please PM an admin if the Rant board doesn't settle things.
4) Romance is allowed, but in moderation on public boards and heavy stuff in threads in the private board.
5) Please respect the rights and powers of the RP Master.*
6) Please obey any special rules set by the RP Master.
7) Please keep chat in OoC, or don't use it at all, if you can avoid it.
8) Please let your fellow RP-ers determine whether an attack hits, and give them time to react IC. This is a sign of trust, a sign of good sportsmanship, and a sign of a good roleplayer.
11) Expanding on rule ten, please be fair to your fellow RP-ers in that you do allow some attacks to hit, and even out the playing field a little.
*-Definitions:
Power-Playing: When your character never tires and is always more powerful than another character.
God-Moding: When your character assumed the role of "God," that is to say, they cannot be harmed, always dodge any attack, never tire, and always hit the other player in a fight. Refer to rules 10 and 11.
Mary-Sues/Gary-Stus: A character that is "perfect," such as in a high school RP where someone is popular, beautiful, nice, considerate, blah, blah, blah, just "too good to be true." Simple saying for avoiding this: "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is."
RP Master: The creator of a thread. The RP master has the power to create his/her own rules, ask people to wait for their profile to be accepted before they join, or ask people to leave the RP they created. But only that RP. They also have the power to share that power with someone else, but they do not have the power to override an Admin.

CHARACTER POWERS:
As of yet, I'm going to be pretty lenient on this. You may place any powers on your characters, since I can figure out what works and what doesn't when I read and accept your profile. However, you have to do things within reason. For example, my character--Jade Curtiss--can use every element in a spell, except for healing, but I don't Power-Play with him. And typically, the more powerful characters might be weapon owners, as it takes a strong will to control the weapon.
As far as the six weapons are concerned, now that I've told you it takes a strong will, that doesn't mean that all weapon-wielders should automatically be able to completely override the will of their weapon.
The most I ask is that if you want a particularly strong character, run it by me via PM. And if you have any prior questions, do the same.
You may have as many characters as you wish. Keep in mind that inactive characters will be deleted, with prior warning to the maker of their profile. They cannot be immortal, however, in the sense that they can't be defeated.
